Dr. Saurabh Singhal is a distinguished Robotic Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) and Liver Transplant Surgeon with extensive experience in complex liver surgery, gastrointestinal surgery and adult and paediatric liver transplantation.
He has performed more than 1,600 liver transplants, covering a wide range of complex transplant procedures. His clinical expertise includes living donor and deceased donor liver transplantation, ABO-incompatible transplantation, combined liver-kidney transplantation, dual-lobe and auxiliary liver transplantation, as well as complex HPB and foregut surgery.
Dr. Singhal completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from AIIMS, New Delhi, followed by advanced training in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He also underwent fellowship training in Foregut and Hepatobiliary Surgery in the USA and Liver Transplant & HPB Surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi.
His academic contribution includes publications and book chapters related to liver transplantation, oesophageal surgery and innovative surgical techniques. He is also trained in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
